How long will it take for test results to be completed?

The time it takes to receive results varies. In some cases, it can take up to 12 weeks before a report is ready. Typically, Ancestry and Traits results are ready within 8 weeks of the Helix lab receiving a sample. It takes about another month before health results are ready to view, as extra steps are taken to ensure the accuracy of Helix Health results. Helix will email the participant when their results are ready to view in the Helix online portal at Helix.com. Additionally, the participant's Helix Health results will be returned to their medical record and they will receive a message through their institution's electronic medical record when that happens.
