To register your Helix DNA collection kit, go to www.helix.com and select create an account The kit should be registered with the information of the user who is providing the sample.
**Please note: If you have previously registered a DNA kit and have received a replacement DNA kit, Please send your sample to helix lab.

For detailed instructions on registering your kit, please follow the steps below.
Step 1To start, go to www.helix.com then select Create an Account
1. Select the health system you joined the study with.
2. You will be asked be asked to enter your kit ID. If you’re not sure where to find your kit ID, you can find the kit ID on the collection tube itself, or the plastic packaging that contains the collection tube.
If you don't have your KIT ID, please contact us at (844) 211-2070 for assistance.
The Helix Customer Support Team is available Monday - Friday from 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM PST.
If you encounter issues with your kit ID, it may be an issue we’ve addressed before, check here for potential solutions.
*When entering the kit ID, you do not need to enter the dashes, just type the letters and numbers, our website will format it for you.
3. Once you’ve entered your kit ID, you’ll be asked to confirm that the kit ID matches the product you want to register. If the product on the screen matches the product you want to register, click continue.
4. Next, please enter your date of birth and sex assigned at birth.
The date of birth should follow the format of, MM/DD/YYYY.
The biological sex must match your biological sex assigned at birth. For more detail as to why this information is required, click here .
5. Create your password
**Please note your password must be 10 characters or more and a password not commonly used.
6. You will be prompted to enter your phone number
** You may choose a text message or voice call to receive an authentication code.
Next you will enter the authentication code you receive when prompted.

**Please note your decision to participate or not participate in the Helix DNA Discovery Project does not affecr your participation in your research study.
Step 3
DNA tests
Check the box that you are 18 years of age or older after you have read the terms as they have been described in the links provided on that page, then you can, if you choose, click "Create Your Helix Account"
Congratulations, you’ve registered your Helix kit! Follow the instructions for providing your saliva sample on the next few pages and mail your sample to the Helix lab!
