To register your Helix DNA collection kit, go to helix.com/start. The kit should be registered with the information of the user who is providing the sample.

For more detailed instructions, please follow the steps below.
Once you go to helix.com/start, click "Get started" to begin your registration.
Next, you’ll either sign in or create a Helix account. If you have already created a Helix account, please sign in with your Helix credentials. (If you do not recall your password, you can reset it by clicking “Forgot Password?” (If you already have an account, skip to Step 5 once you’ve signed in)
If you do not have an account, you’ll need to create one by clicking on “Create an account”
When creating an account, please be sure to enter the name of the individual who will be providing the sample. Once you’ve entered all the necessary info, click “Next”.
Once you’ve created an account, you’ll be asked to verify your email. Please go to your email inbox, and open the most recent email verification email from Helix. Then, click “Verify Email address” in the body of the email.
Once you’ve signed in, or verified your email address, you’ll be asked to enter your kit ID. If you’re not sure where to find your kit ID, you can find guidance here.
If you encounter issues with your kit ID, it may be an issue we’ve addressed before, check here for potential solutions.
*When entering the kit ID, you do not need to enter the dashes, just type the letters and numbers, our website will format it for you.
Once you’ve entered your kit ID, you’ll be asked to confirm that the kit ID matches the product you purchased. If the product on the screen matches the product you own, click next.
Next, you’ll be asked to enter the date of birth and Biological sex of the participant.
The date of birth should follow the format of, xx/xx/xxxx.
The biological sex of the entered must match the participant’s biological sex when they were born. For more info why click here.
Once you’ve entered the date of birth and biological sex, scroll down the page, and click “I agree and consent” once you’ve reviewed the Data Privacy & Consent section.
Next, you’ll be asked if you wish to participate in Helix’s research program. Review the details of the research program and then click either, “I want to participate” or “Skip for now”
*You can change your mind at any time and edit these settings from within your Helix account.
Congratulations, you’ve registered your Helix kit! Click “Next” and you’ll be brought to the instructions for providing your saliva sample
