Using your DNA results from Helix’s Exome+ sequencing Vinome helps customers discover which of the complex flavors in wine the customer is most likely to enjoy. Once that profile is complete Vinome offers suggestions as to which wine varietals the customer would enjoy and allows the customer to purchase these wines directly on their website.

What to expect after you order
If you have already had your DNA sequenced through Helix, your data will be sent to Vinome for interpretation. Once your results are ready, the partner providing the service will email you notifying you that your results are ready. You will then be able to log in and review your results.
If you have not already been sequenced by Helix you’ll receive your DNA kit in the mail.
Once you have the kit you will need to register it here. Once you’ve registered, you can provide your sample and send it back to Helix. Testing usually takes about 6-10 weeks.
When your results are ready, you will receive notice from Vinome and you will then be able to log in and view results.
